Villa Franceschi is absolutely beautiful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food and cocktails. Very friendly to dogs. The rooms have been recently renovated and are absolutely stunning. Park around the property is wonderful. This property stole our hearts.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which is housed in a beautiful old palace. A good hotel all round. Staff were very friendly and helpful - with typical ‘Italian’ efficiency! Excellent breakfast - rooms well appointed and clean. What makes this hotel really worthwhile is it is directly next to a valporetto water bus stop - with quick access to bus/train station.

We spent 5 nights here, and had a much-needed break. The hotel was so quiet and luxurious.
Loved the private water taxi to mainland Venice, that added an extra something to our stay, and always so prompt.
The outdoor pool was very cold, and needs to be heated, but the poolside area was very luxurious.
We ate in the restaurant once - the food was lovely, but very expensive.
The drinks were also expensive, but I had the best Bellini ever!
Rumour has it that in addition to a spa and indoor...

We stayed at the JW Marriott for 4 days and loved every minute. It's a beautiful, clean hotel 20 minutes by boat shuttle service from Venice. The staff can't do enough to help and never said 'no' to any of our requests. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and looked forward to our breakfast each morning. Sitting outside, looking at the trees and sea in the distance with a crisp fresh croissant and a cappuccino was the perfect start to our day. Food was of a high quality, always hot and fresh....

An amazing stay for our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel staff could not be more accommodating and we truly felt the 5 star experience here.
Sadly, on our anniversary we were not able to stay in our room during the day as they had routine electrical maintenance which meant we could not use any water or power until 4.30pm, which would have been nice to know about before we travelled and before requesting breakfast in our room. But we understand this could not be helped.

Amazing location at the heart of Venice and minutes from St Marks square. Beautiful Venetian art style, without being over the top like some. Intimate boutique-type hotel rather than grand palace. Gondola stop right outside, book at reception to be whisked straight to the front of the line and/or pop in to the St Regis next door for a sundowner by the Grand Canal! Wonderful stay.

Fantastic hotel, if you want to stay in close proximity but also away from hustle and bustle of Venice then it’s fantastic.
Grandest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Well organised shuttle bus to Venice and fantastic breakfast

The hotel is in a lovely residential area with good bars and restaurants which are not touristy. You can experience the real Venice here and yet you are close enough to get to the centre.

The hotel arranged a private water taxi for us from the airport, which was a perfect way to arrive.
On arriving at Ca Maria Adele our hotel room was lovely with a dressing area and spacious bathroom, the hotel staff recommended and made reservations for our evening meals twice and the restaurant was wonderful.
We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast and would cannot fault this beautiful hotel and it's amazing staff.

A brilliant location on Grand canal. Steps from the Ponte di Rialto. Small breakfast room with great view overlooking the canal. Room still quiet even though so close to the grand canal crowds
