"We stayed here on our last night in Madeira because we had an early morning flight the next day and the hotel is super close to the airport bus stop. You can't beat the location of this hotel. It is in the heart of downtown Funchal so you are within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops, plus the beautiful waterfront. "Wonderful experience. The front desk staff was kind, patient. The bar was cute and you can certainly sit outside. It's walkable to all of downtown shopping. The rooms are small, clean, and have what we needed (shampoo, soap, towels). Just as an FYI, there is parking available for 10 euros/night. Since we arrived late and were only staying 1 night, we were able to find street parking for cheaper. We enjoyed the welcome champagne. The included breakfast was very good! I would definitely recommend...

"Super convenient for airport, beach, food and bis station for local activities and rest of island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and great balcony with sea view. Good buffet breakfast with a few options including cold, cooked, and sweet. Great location, with free parking a short walk (paid parking closer by, but rarely spaces available). New bathroom and amazing shower. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel is located right on the ocean and walkable to restaurants and markets. Our room had a fantastic sea view, spacious clean with big walk-in shower and very quiet. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory with plenty of seating. Happy hour in the bar was a nice bonus. Paid parking is recommended as street parking is limited."
