Beautiful comfortable accommodation. Everything you need for a stay. Lots of extra tasteful details.

My wife and I stayed at Throstle Nest for 2 nights this week and had a great time. The Skiptonn area provides a lot to do and see and we found this Band B to be an excellent base. The setting is great with country views from the bedroom which was really well appointed with all facilities on tap.

Excellent customer service, very clean rooms, super comfy bed and pillows. My room was facing the main road and it wasn't even an issue. I'm a very light sleeper and I had two nights of 8 hours sleep. Would happily stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. Lovely, helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a hearty breakfast. What more could you ask for?

Good location for the National Park and good food.

Spent a full weekend here, the staff were absolutely amazing always in good spirits and happy to help. The food was amazing at both tea time and breakfast also. The room was very clean and also well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I think we will be coming here again.

Had a lovely weekend here. This hotel was perfect. Nice and quiet but lively enough to provide a pleasant ambiance without ever being noisy or overbearing. Staff throughout were lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax.

It wasn't easy to find - thank goodness for the satnav! - but it was certainly worth finding. Set in tranquil countryside with not a street light in sight, this hotel is a haven from the frantic world. The proprietors are friendly and helpful, the room was of a high standard and the breakfast was as close to perfect as it could have been. we were served tea and coffee in the comfortable lounge on arrival, given fresh milk to replace the uht pots on the hospitality tray and were made to feel...

The room was lovely and clean and comfortable, we arrived and got a parking spot next to the hotel. Communication is excellent. Lighting on arrival so we could put the code into the building was fantastic. We were in the first room. It was modern with a lovely big bed, with a walk-in shower which is ideal for me as I struggle with mobility. It was a tiny step into the shower, about 2 centimetres high, which didn’t cause me any issues. The room had a big TV and settee, table, small wardrobe. We...

Booked the willows as a last minute getaway for me and my girlfriend. As someone that stays in hotels a lot for work and rarely writes reviews, I feel after staying here , I must share my views. Customer service here is beyond impeccable. We dealt with the owner , Margaret , the owner. A proper no nonsense landlady who loves what she does and is committed to making sure you love your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are exactly as advertised as with so many other...

Very helpful management, and a peaceful, clean, pleasant room. I only wish I'd had time to try their restaurant. The menu looked great! Well, next time!
