Location of the property is great. Lots of eateries around. Having a microwave and refrigerator a plus. But everything else was terrible. The couch had a huge tear in the cushions. Wall paper peeling off, stains all over the walls and the sheets. Pillows were flat and mattress lumpy. AC would turn on but never cooled down. When the AC would turn on, it made everyone start sneezing and got congested. As soon as we would leave the room, everyone felt better. We could hear the guest upstairs all night. The remote to the tv was broken and I had to call the front desk 4x before someone came to replace it. Must have been shift change because it was a new person every time I called and they said there was not a request put in. Maybe we just got a crappy room but based on this experience, we will not be returning.

We went to Universal Studios for this trip and stayed at this Springhill suites and loved it. This will be our go to hotel for whenever we visit Los Angeles. Close enough to Universal Studios and yet not super close, which we prefer. The area around the hotel is nice. The lobby is beautiful. Rooms are spacious, bathroom was clean, beds were comfortable.

Room was okay. The sheets were dirty. The bed is NOT comfortable at all. The only positive was ikea was like 2 minutes away.

It was a pleasant stay with two exceptions. The first was that the pillows were too soft, so we didnt have a great nights sleep. Second, in the morning around 7am rhe building had a test of their fire alarms. It didn't bother us too much as most of our party was up except for the kids who were startled by the test. This led of course to a very long breakfast line as everyone was up. Other than those two things we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was hardy, and the kids enjoyed the pool.

The staff is what truly stands out at this property. They are so accommodating and friendly! The hotel is also within walking distance from downtown Burbank and mall. There are tons of dining options! Onsite, the fire table and patio are great. We had a family reunion here and it was a perfect spot.
