"Lovely hotel. Great facilities and the grounds are beautifully kept"

"Staff were great. Hotel very dated with a lot of damage to a lot of areas were patched up jobs that needed a full job doing. Rooms were reasonably clean. Breakfast was nice, not loads of choice but what was there was cooked nicely. "

"The only down side was I would've thought the people cooking in the restaurant should've wore a net over his beard. But on a whole we really enjoyed our stay. We have stayed many times before."

"The hotel is undergoing refurbishment but the rooms that are finished, and the public areas are great. The new Fat Badger bar has fantastic decor and atmosphere. The staff were very helpful, exemplified by the manager vacating her parking space when I was struggling to find a space."

"breakfast menu was ok but when i ordered a sausage mushroom and egg sandwich i literally got 1 egg 1 sausage and 1 mushroom on dry bread it was not good "

"We stayed last Saturday for a long overdue break away. The staff (all of them) go above and beyond for everything.. whether a couple of extra tea bags or general queries at reception. Our room was immaculate and looking out over the sea and so very peaceful. We left feeling rested and although we had never stayed over night in Scarborough, both my husband and I said we would book another break very soon simply based on bring a wonderful experience. "
