Absolutely beautiful hotel. Traditional architecture and lovely period features. We booked a "small" double room, however nothing felt cramped or compromised. Super comfy bed, and room meticulously clean and well presented. Our host Adam was very friendly, professional and helpful and we felt very welcomed. Would not hesitate to book again. 10/10 x

Lives up to its reputation

Lovely, cosy room in a quiet hotel. Had a wonderful nights sleep. The room is just like the pictures. Lovely hosts well, very welcoming. Would recommend and hope to stay here again.

Room was the cleanest I have ever stayed at, location was very good, only issue was traffic seagull and people noise at night, windows were single pane and earplugs are a must if you are in a room facing the street. Daily room service was great.

The Palace Hill Hotel was excellent from start to finish. Adam, Tip & Baby Jasmine were excellent hosts. Good location, street parking permit given on arrival for easy parking behind hotel. Room was clean & fresh, cleaned everyday of our stay, fresh towels when required, coffee, tea & hot chocolate replenished daily, bottle of water refilled daily. Bed was comfortable, plenty of storage & hanger space. Bathroom was good with towel rail, toilet, basin, shower & cabinet. Shower was the best we have had when staying in any hotel, it was large, easy to use and good water flow. The only one downfall was the thin walls and as we had a loud-talking couple in the room next door we could hear their conversations very early in the morning !!!! One thing to note is that there are about a dozen steep steps to negotiate to the hotel door, so bear this in mind with suitcases. Overall we had a fantastic stay at The Palace Hill Hotel and would definately book again if visiting Scarborough. Highly recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to stay and the prices are very reasonable too 👍
