"Initial problems were car park was totally full (despite being told no need to pre-book as plenty of space) This was 3rd party info. & did not match what the hotel told us on arrival. Our allocated room left a lot to be desired. Thankfully Michelle on reception efficiently addressed all the issues and resolved everything to our total satisfaction by sorting the parking issue and moving us to a great room. Without her intervention we would have walked away, but now more than happy with her superb service and we will definitely & happily return to the Royal. She really is a credit to your hotel!"

"A very enjoyable stay at St Hilda's Boutique to celebrate our aniversary. We were treated to a free bottle of prosecco on arrival by the host which was a really nice and kind touch. We stayed in the Marrakesh suite which was really swanky, and has a huge jacuzzi bath. The host was extremely friendly and helpfuland we couldn't have asked for more."

"I LOVED this hotel. I’m a world touring cyclist and I love quiet and remote. This hotel was FANTASTIC. Idyllic setting high above the bay. Beautiful grounds. Lovely gardens. Stunning. The hotel just had a makeover and it looks beautiful! My room overlooked the sea—clean and comfortable and a great bathtub! Breakfast was plentiful and high quality. A dreamy stop as I pedal the UK. Many, many thanks! "

"We were in room 302 which has a sea view and was very clean and well presented. My only comment on the room is it was very warm, it felt like the heating was on, even though the outside weather was 20 degrees and overcast. I was also a bit surprised at the additional £50 I was asked to pay on check in (????), although this is refunded when you check out. The staff are very nice and the hotel very good and I would recommend a stay here. The hotel is very high up and there are a lot of steps to climb if the tramway isn't working from the beach to the top of the hill. Overall I was very pleased with our stay at the Crown Spa Hotel and would certainly revisit."
