WHEN I ASKED THEM ABOUT IT, I GOT AN ATTITUDE FROM THE STAFF AND WHEN THEY ASKED IF I HAD A MARRIOTT ACCOUNT THAT THE COULD APPLY POINTS TO AN I SAID NO, I GOT AN EVEN BIGGER ATTITUDE. I AM VER Y UNHAPPY ABOUT THIS STAY. THE PLACE WAS VERY OUTDATED AND DIRTY. FOR $300 I EXPECTED BETTER."

"I don't usually leave bad reviews but this stay was awful. I booked an accessible room and when I went to check in the staff told me they don't have accessible rooms and were unsure why the hotel listed rooms like that. They never bothered to reach out ahead of time to tell me, they just waited until I checked in. The room was not cleaned well. The shower had hair and soapscum build up. The water drained slow, and there were rust stains around the drain. The towels and washcloths were stained. The bathmat was threadbare with a big hole in it. The fridge was disgustingly dirty and had large ice build up. It froze everything I placed in it...including a gallon of water - frozen solid. The a/c did not work. I set it on 60⁰ and it felt like the heater was running. I literally had to doordash a fan to sleep comfortably. They also advertised a "buffet breakfast" which was not anywhere close to that. They had bagels and toast and make your own waffles, but no sugar free syrup, no decaf coffee. Very slim fixings for a supposed buffet. Overall not a good experience."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland Macedonia

"This hotel did not at all meet La Quinta standards. I’m not sure if it is franchised or what other excuse there is for the deviation. We booked it bc of the name recognition and its location near the national park was perfect. The filth and smell of the hotel, however, was unacceptable. The hallway smelled like Indian food, the carpet there had not been vacuumed in long enough that there was debris (it was the same filthy look at 9 am as it was the prior day). The bed had a fitted sheet that only came down about 2-3” and left the mattress exposed. The bathroom was cleaned well, so that was good. The room itself, however, had a desk chair and other furniture that were covered in old dust like it had been pilled from a warehouse. But most importantly, as a warning for others: the room had a mildew odor, and when we turned on the loud outdated heating/cooling unit, it belched out a cloud of mildew odor and continued to the entire time it ran. If I had mildew sensitivities, I’d probably have had to leave. Simply upgrading these HVAC units would be a critical improvement to the property. Would I stay again? I wouldn’t. It was grossly overpriced. Even more importantly, it didn’t meet a La Quinta standard. The staff were very nice, however… Not their fault…."
