Loved the place,highly recommended,need to know you will need to cook your own meals,fully functioning kitchen,otherwise you can eat out at local hotel,within the village.the co-op have big presence in area for grocery supplies,with biggest store in interlarken ost,and smaller presence in Murren,and lauterbrunnen

Beautiful hotel, great service and a wonderful breakfast which was the highlight of the stay for us. The only issue was the outside area by the pool, they need to have someone continually there to clear up, this was one of the first impressions I had of the hotel, towels and used glasses everywhere. That said, this is a beautiful 5 star hotel with lots of extras and the price was worth this level of luxury.

A great value stay at a lovely hotel with great views, food and staff. So handy for everything with reception just opposite the train station. Rooms a little dated but well maintained and very comfortable. Highly recommended, I will be back!

Had an fantastic holiday in Interlaken. The hotel was in a great location. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was very filling! The room was very comfortable and clean and had a great view of The Jungfrau and surrounding mountains. Wish we’d stayed for longer.

Room with a balcony overlooking the activity in the main street, up the road to the mountains and across to a lovely view included the toy-looking train climbing up to Wengen. I stayed in the Amaranth for six days last week, and had a great time. Indeed this was my second visit to this hotel, having stayed there previously several years ago. My positive experience then encouraged me to make this second, longer stay. I'd fully back up previous reviews commenting on the excellent staff at this building. We were greeted by a lovely staff member who explained everything well and helped us with holding our bags before checking in. She was very friendly. The room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had a great view of the beautiful scenery. Great location near the train station too!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel two nights ago. Everything felt new, fresh, and exceptionally clean, with beautiful décor throughout. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Rune, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Amazing stay in Grindelwald. Hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was ample - eggs, cereal, fruit and meats and nespresso or filter coffee. If it started even 30 mins earlier would be amazing as need to out early if doing hikes. The door to the left from the lift was amazing for accessing the terminal station but guests can’t enter this way coming back.
