"We started with just a 1 day reservation to check out the area and facilities it was important we had good wifi and air conditioning after our first night we decided to stay here for the rest of our time and booked with the front desk the place has the best beach and the only one where there is a completely roped of area to swim in the ocean the beach chairs and umbrellas were many and the breakfast was amazing. My room was comfortable, clean and perfectly refreshed when I returned from a day by the pool. The manager Uma was always accommodating with any request we had. "Peaceful, friendly, and right on the beach – perfect stay in Lamai We stayed at Sand Sea Beach Resort in Lamai for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. The whole place has such a peaceful, relaxing vibe — quiet but still close enough to everything you need. We booked the Royal Suite with Seaview, which was spotless, spacious, and literally steps from the beach. Having our own private sun loungers right out front was perfect. The staff even decorated the bed with a “Happy Anniversary” message and provided slippers and bathrobes — a really thoughtful touch. The staff were all incredibly friendly and courteous, always smiling and quick to reply to messages on WhatsApp whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was pretty simple — a few rotating hot dishes (usually a Thai option, pancakes or French toast, and sausages), plus an egg station and continental bits like croissants, pastries, and coffee. Lunch and dinner, though, were brilliant. The food was delicious, with both Thai and European options that were all super tasty and fairly priced. The beach area was clean and well maintained, Wi-Fi was decent (not lightning fast but fine for browsing), and the laundry service was great too. The location couldn’t be better — you literally step out of your room onto the sand, and you’re less than 10 minutes from a 7/11 and about 15 from the Lamai Night Market. It’s the ideal mix of peaceful and convenient. Great views, excellent staff, peaceful stay!"

"A surprisingly excellent stay! Given the price, we had low expectations, but were greeted by a spotlessly clean twin room. The shared shower and toilet facilities were equally spotless, with lukewarm water and decent pressure. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A rooftop seating area, reached by a steep black ladder, made a great spot for morning coffee. We couldn’t fault it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Note that air conditioning incurs an additional charge."

"For the price this place cannot be beat. Amazing location near night market (but I prefer fresh market- even closer and cheaper). Nice pool and 5 min walk to the beach. They will give you towels but it’s also easy to walk along the beach and snag a lounger and umbrella at a bar or resort if you buy a drink or two. Perfectly clean and comfy staff was amazing!"
