Just add a pool and it’s perfection although it already is. Staff was amazing and the room was the best for the price aswell. Could not ask for a better place to have had my proposal

We were so lucky to find this hotel at short notice. Perfectly positioned next to the lake in Como. The hotel has only just opened after extensive refurbishment and it is beautiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the service was first class. The roof top bar is beautiful with views across the lake and the old town. Enjoyable stay in September, close to the town with amazing views over the lake. This is not a corporate hotel which makes it more special. You have to allow that the design and style is more like someone's home rather than an part of an international chain of hotels. If you want to get a feel for 19th century elegance with modern facilities and service this is the place to stay. Live music in the evenings from classical musicians playing popular tunes added to the ambience. And of course...

Check-in was quite fast, the receptionists are friendly. We love the interior of the room & the bed is super comfy.

The area is the best you will find in central Lugano. There is a funicular next to the hotel taking you directly to Lugano train station. The lake is 200m walk. The service is as good as any hotel I have ever been. The staff and very friendly and helpful. They helped me plan my trip to the two main Lugano mountains. Pre-visit you get to pick what you want in your free minibar, what type of pillows, what type of mattress and a few other surprises. The building is not new but is very well...

Pictures do not do this place justice. The garden view is amazing with visibility of lake lugano and the distant mountains. Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I loved the breakfast, it's simple but very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel

Beautiful room with beautiful views, perfectly located close to the lake, shops, restaurants. Cannot fault the staff and their breakfast service was lovely. The bathroom was gorgeous!

The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues.The Jersey Mob

Stayed in an Executive Double Room Lake View for 4 nights. Fabulous break. Hotel was outstanding and we could not have wished for a more attentive service. Made to feel special. Excellent concierge service, even buying our rail tickets for Milan from the station. The most wonderful breakfast experience - fabulous spread and choice and particularly enjoyed the Homemade yogurt. homemade Jams, homemade breads homemade croissants (4 varieties) all too delicious, finishing with a Prosecco....

My husband and I had a very happy time on Como. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and our room lovely, with balcony, but noisy road, of course. The Tavernola ferry stop is handy - we walked, cycled and sailed into Como town! The Lake is enchanting - with gorgeous views and noisy seaplanes. Our great disappointment was splashing out on dinner on our last night. The dining room is grand and all the service rather pretentious, but the food was by no measurement value for money. The hotel was conveniently located so you could walk into como city, to the ferry stop or to the train station. The food was very nice, we had the hotel breakfast each day and also ate in 2 of the restaurants and at the poolside bar. The rooms were comfortable and well cleaned with an evening turn service as well. The pool area was lovely, great pool with an amazing view of the lake plus very cold so great for cooling down after a hot day. Would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel in perfect location. Staff very helpful, very clean and modern look. Very accommodating and can park car in front of hotel to offload/onload. Would definitely come back!

Centre of Como, great hotel with a lovely restaurant and lots of other options in a short walking distance. Our room was a good size and had a balcony with great views up the lake.

Excellent hotel in prime position on lake and close to all amenities and cathedral. Wonderfull art neovau fully renovated hotel in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean. Hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpfull at all times. Lovely breakfast in a quaint breakfast room.restaurant provided a first class mea very well presented in a lovely restaurant which has utilised limited space well.
