Its a nice property , though a bit old but well maintained

The place was very clean and only a 10-15min taxi ride from the airport. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. This is a really good place to stop before catching a flight from Chennai airport

12 months since my last visit and the staff are even better than I remember. Arriving 2am you might except the “night” staff welcome but no smiling faces and helpful staff. The room is well equipped but the towels could do with changing as they are getting a bit scratchy but everything else is fine. Breakfast is a good selection of western and Asian cuisine and I was lucky enough to have chef Arun deliver some nice breads for both breakfast and dinner which were delicious. Dinner is a la...

An potentially inconvenient but necessary overnight stay was turned into an unexpectedly enjoyable experience, all because of the most incredibly enthusiastic and responsive staff that I have ever come across. I was not sure how we would locate the shuttle from the airport, so I sent a text message before leaving Bangalore. When we we arrived in Chennai a couple of hours later, there was a chauffeur with a signboard, to whisk us to the hotel. He had our room key, so that check in was simple,...

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, albeit for brief overnight business stopovers at Chennai. It is conveniently located near the IT Parks which I visit near Velacherry/ Taramani and not too far from the airport in a quiet area. However one must add that this is not near the actual city centre but at a convenient peripheral location. Rooms are well appointed, spacious and comfortable, staff is well trained and courteous, there is a pool and fitness centre and several dining...

Staff were excellent including Duty Manager. Room was clean, restaurant was good, roof bar had excellent ambience, housekeeping were prompt in service and when I needed help with car for the day, the Duty Manager went out of his way to help us despite a car not being readily available.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Chennai. Staff very welcoming and hotel in excellent condition. Their are some refurbishments taking place but this does not affect the guest in any way. \rooms are very spacious and have everything you need with plenty of bottled water supplied. Bathroom is clean and showers excellent. Food is either via a buffet or a la carte menu and both are excellent with a great choice all in all would thoroughly recommend

Excellent Hotel and exemplary service! Very friendly staff and all including the duty manager goes out of the way to provide the very best service. Will definitely stay more often here!

Very good location and maintenance

The experience of staying at the Leela Palace is unique. We stayed here for 8 nights. Above a certain star rating, hotels in India serve as sanctuaries from the frenetic, turbo-driven, high octane energy outside their gates. The Leela Palace understands that even the most intrepid, culturally voracious Europeans can only manage limited exposure to 'real Indian' life. The tranquil, gracious respite provided by this hotel (Leela Palace) warrants a 6 star rating. The subtlety of the...

Everything was great except there were some delays in room service.

It was a 1 night stay, but a great experience. The hotel is in a good location next to a shopping center and many local restaurants around. We got a good deal in price. Has 5 star quality. Lunch was excellent. But breakfast was ok. Friendliness of staff, very professional. Would like to visit again.

Lovely hotel very up to Taj standard staff couldnt do more for you

I had a very pleasant experience and would love to stay in this hotel again.

One of the best stays u will find in chennai to provide a 5 star feeling
