"We stayed here while traveling on Amtrak. It is a great hotel for a stay before or after catching the train. The first day breakfast was biscuits and gravy which were okay but the second time was sausage and eggs, a much better option. The room was clean and the second night there was music playing outside somewhere but it stopped at 11 pm so not too bad. Our stay was pleasant and we will use the hotel again when in KC. "

"My room was spacious and clean looking. I was pleased overall. The TV worked fine. A desk clock worked good after I plugged it in. I was disappointed there were no USB sockets for charging devices, as these are becoming pretty common in hotel rooms. When I inquired about shower soap via text, the hotel responded promptly, and they were very gracious, asking me to let them know if there was anything else at all that I needed. They were always pleasant and polite, which is refreshing. The hotel is older, so the rooms might show that, esp the bathrooms - but this is more than made up for in the price and the graciousness of the staff. A pleasant stay in midtown KC!"
