They have new maintenance crew members who are working their ass off making this place look and run great. The staff is so friendly! They went above and beyond for my daughter and I. "The hotel was nothing like the pictures on the website. Very rundown, when I walked into the room I was hit with a musty smell, the locks on the doors were not reassuring and I did not feel safe."

"Room was okay. Door to patio stuck slightly open. Bathroom did not have any place to hang towels, except one short rod for a hand towel. Check-in was fast and easy. Gentleman who helped us was efficient and friends. During our two night stay, DeeDee worked the front desk over the weekend. She greeted guests as they entered, asking about their breakfast or their day. Truly a GREAT representative of the hotel. We easily walked to Royals games just across the street. Great location."

It's looks and smells rundown. The room's condition was a pleasant surprise! Clean and very large! The front desk gentleman was not a welcoming person at all. Evren though we paid for the room through Expedia in advance, he demanded an additional $125 security deposit on our credit card before he would give us the room key. Why? "
