The staff are very polite and made me feel welcomed. It's got very cozy decor and feels homey, on top of that everything was extremely clean. The property itself is very beautiful with plenty of space on the lawn to relax. The breakfast they served was really good. There are a lot of places to go see nearby, two noteworthy ones being Harry S Truman's home and The Vaile Mansion. Will very likely stay again if/when I visit Independence again.

Very helpful communication with Natasha regarding our arrival time and progress during our road trip, and very welcoming when we arrived after a long day of driving. Outstanding spotless and clean room! Delicious breakfast served at 9 o'clock, and a very accommodating and nourishing "to-go" breakfasts prepared for us on the road as we had over 550 miles to drive the following day, Woodstock is a definite stay if we pass through in the future!
