"This property exceeded our expectations. It had everything you need in a good condo: a modern kitchen with reasonably new appliances, granite countertop, good A/C, washer/dryer, lots of utensils. They even gave us a rice cooker. There was a water leak the day we checked in, and hence, they gave us a different unit. They could have done a better job of communicating that issue. But they did handle the issue promptly when we reached out. Definitely a great location - next to beach, close to main shopping/dining places."

"Disappointing kitchen had no basics (salt, pepper, spices, olive oil, aluminum foil, clear wrap) Screen door on slider was in terrible shape, could not completely close the screen at night. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Kona Coast. The facility was clean, spacious, and had a lot of features (such as the restaurant, bar, and pools). It was easy to check in and out and the staff were all very nice. The main problem we had was that we tried to use some of the amenities very close to their closing times. We saw nothing posted regarding the hours, so we went to both the bar too late to get the drinks we wanted, and to the quiet pool, where we ended up being chased out by security. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay."

"My husband and I just completed a 5-night stay here and had a wonderful experience. Check in was a breeze, very friendly helpful staff, and our accommodations were simply wonderful. Proximity to town is ideal — not too far, nor too close. We stayed in a 1 bed 1 bath condo with a full kitchen. We really enjoyed being able to buy local Peaberry coffee and shop at the local grocery to brew fresh ground coffee and make breakfast every morning while looking out at the ocean and listening to the birds. There was minimal light pollution from Kailua Kona so stargazing was amazing. Also, no noise from the road. Talk about peaceful! If we ever come back to the big island, we will be staying here again."
