The hotel is in a perfect location on the public beach. We loved spending time on the sandy beach. There are countless things to do in the area. I wish beach chairs and an umbrella would have been included at no charge. We enjoyed the pool area right next to the beach.

Having the ice and filtered water machines were great , the bar and wait staff were fabulous and Diana from the desk was so helpful in calming my nerves about the weather before we arrived . Overall good hotel. Nice private beach for hotel. The pool area is also nice but needs more chairs for relaxing. They have more tables for dining which were have empty but the pool chairs were always full or taken. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I would return to this hotel because it’s in a great location if you don’t have a car. Many places within walking distance to eat and shop.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel with lots of amenities! Great location, very nice beach that they clean every morning, beautiful pool, beach towels you can exchange for clean ones as needed, and much more. If you don’t want the expensive buffet breakfast, King’s coffee shop has excellent coffees and breakfast choices and it is located on the first floor. I would definitely stay here again! The property is right in the center of Kailua-Kona. You are near shopping, dining, and right on the harbor. It's a great spot if you want to be in the middle of everything. The resort itself has shopping, excursions, and other amenities right on site. We weren't able to use the pool because we stayed during a storm, but it looked nice.

The room was clean and we could see the ocean while on the balcony. It is convenient to walk to many restaurants and shopping. Although can be noisy at night due to traffic. Beach is crowded while cruise ship in port. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our air conditioner stopped working on the last night, they sent maintenance to fix which took a few hours. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location! Everything was very close by. The pool and the beach were excellent. Snorkeling at the beach was ok but it gets better if you go further out. Our room had an issue with ants during our trip. The hotel just sent housekeeping over but the ants kept coming. Also my beach front view was blocked by a big tree and it was also very noisy in some mornings with the gardeners. Despite all of this, I still had a great time in Kona! There are some great beach parks within a 10-15 mins drive too!

Was offered to change the room the next day for an ocean view. We did not want to move again and risk it, so they waived our parking fees. Overall we were quite happy. Staff were great. Breakfast was good.
