Lovely hotel with pool, bar & restaurant. Standard rooms with two queens are comfy & suitable, but not massive, so don’t expect extra space. Decor is clean and pleasant & well maintained but I wouldn’t say it’s very modern. The pool area with sun beds is lovely. The hotel have plenty of beach towels which you can also borrow for your day at the beach. If you book including breakfast you get a voucher which entitles each guest to 1 drink and 1 breakfast entree. Any extras you pay for. ...

Great breakfast and treats

Lovely stay at Tides. Location and staff were great. Room was nice and very clean but bathroom a little tired. Fantastic view and location on beach in Folly. Staff on front desk (Eli) and manager (David) handled concerns excellently. Concierge staff Jim and Carlton welcoming and helpful everyday. Would stay again.

Modern and good size accommodation. Easy to drive into Charleston. Breakfast items could be improved eg cooked items/fresh fruit salad/yogourts

Our recent 2 night stay was a delight. Large, family suite catered to our every need. Friendly, attentive staff and nice 'unique' touches made this a great choice for our family break in Charleston. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were some of the best I've ever had in a hotel. I will be sure to recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting the city.

Fantastic room, we were in the residence for our honeymoon and it felt like a home away from home. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, from taking us in the jeep to the waterfront, to helping us at 539

This should have a higher score than 4 It is a bit dated - but having said that everything is spotlessly clean and functional Our room was fantastic with a settee to relax Big shower area The bed was very very good... Comfortable and big The breakfast was a great choice and very fresh. It's between 6-12 dollars in an uber to town depending what time of day A big shout out to Precious and the lady who does the food - they could not do enough for us and were exceptionally attentive.
