"The breakfast was disappointing. The muffin, sausage and coconut cake were dry. The staff were great, all very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Our room was noisy, the room above us they were moving furniture or jumping up and down. The bed in our room was too high and the bed was noisy."

"The location was spectacular. The bed was comfy. The staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was fine since it was off season. However, the way the rooms are set up is terrible. All the room doors face each other to a huge concrete commen area. It was so ridiculously loud inside our room, everything echoed, especially the cleaning staff making their rounds to the rooms. Also, we had a room with a adjoining door to another room with a huge gap at the bottom of the door and could hear EVERYthing that was happening next to us. Would not stay here again just for the noise issues."

"Overall an excellent new hotel to enjoy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was nicely only a short walk from King Street and French Quarter. Very nice clean and spacious one bedroom. If I had to make minor suggestions, did not like that water spraying, hot, noisy toilet seat and the rooms are a bit dark meaning the walls and trim. Should have went with white instead of dark gray trim. Also, need a business or work area to get some work done, as needed. Just had a small cubby hole. This is just getting picky as it's a wonderful hotel and place to stay. Would definitely recommend it. Loved the city of Charleston. Great food (Oak Steakhouse, Hank's Seafood and Magnolia) were all excellent."
