Excellent Spacious Rooms with very good service and restaurant. Complementary breakfast is too good with many options. Hotel is close by Doddabetta peak and hence having own vehicle would be better as it is 9km from ooty railway station. otherwise be ready to shell out more for taxi request at travel desk. It is very lonely and peaceful place to be. We enjoyed staying here for 3 days and 2 nights. Stayed on 29 to 31 Mar 2013. Family with one 3 years kid.

I STAYED IN THE HOTEL FOR TWO DAYS WITH MY WIFE. DESPITE LANGUAGE HANDICAP I ENJOYED MY STAY. ROOM SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. ROOMS ARE CLEAN SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE. WHAT PLEASED ME MUCH WAS THE RECEPTION-DESK.THE MANAGEMENT IS CO-OPERATIVE AND GUEST-FRIENDLY. I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT IT AGAIN AND AGAIN....

We had an incredible stay at this property! The mountain views right from our room were breathtaking, and the entire staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. A special mention to Dipen and his wife, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, the home-cooked food was absolutely delicious. We loved the experience so much that we decided to extend our stay!

During our stay at the Savoy in Ooty, we were endlessly impressed with the level of service by all staff from the gardeners to the managers who were attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel is immaculate with rooms that reflect the heritage of the property while providing clean, well maintained and modern aspects that you want when travelling. Had a good experience!!

Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car. Nice view from the room and property in general. Staff and cook are very very polite. Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating).

The hotel was right at market and right beside the botanical garden. Absolutely loved the stay!
