The Whitehall Houston
The hotel itself is clean and homey, but there is nothing in the area to do or walk to. Staff is friendly, you get a coupon for waiving housekeeping which was good incentive. Heritage Place Houston Brookhollow
This is a....functional...hotel. There is nothing special or stand-out about it. There were stains on the bed skirt, stains on the ottoman fabric. The spout for the tub was loose from the wall. That said.... there was art on the walls, the AC worked well and the staff was nice.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Bush IAH South
The airport arrived promptly. The first room assigned did not have a working toilet. We packed up and moved to another room. Which had a broken tv and fridge. Then moved to a third room which was decent. Breakfast was very basic. Staff tried to be helpful but overall not a good stay.
