"Located in a residential district with narrow streets and no sidewalks. The parking is two short blocks away at a commercial lot without in/out privileges. Costco Hiroshima is in walking distance. Overall, we liked the nontouristy experience. The air conditioning worked very well. The beds were comfortable. "

"After multiple phone calls the hotel never picked up, or responded to the WhatsApp number. This was particularly annoying because they never sent us the room code leaving us unable to get into the room for over two hours. Once they called us back we were able to get into the room, which clean and exactly as advertised. "

"We had a lovely one night stay in the Courtyard Hotel. Brand new hotel, with parking (at a cost) in a good location in the city. Breakfast was great, an excellent buffet choice in a lovely restaurant. Service was friendly and professional. Our room was a good size, comfy, clean and modern. "It was the perfect find for a late night arrival in Hokkaido. Also appreciated the tip from the venue on the convenience of the express bus. We were a little uneasy with the instructions and whether we could actually access the room, but ultimately everything worked as intended. It’s quite narrow but perfect for 2 people. Lots of conbini and food options nearby, including a fantastic ramen shop an 8 minute walk away (open until 2am), where we had one of our favorite meals on the trip."
