Luxe King room is really good and spacious when stayed on the high floor. Staff was nice and friendly.
Location is convenient and good. B1 can access to JR and Metro.
Room was clean and spacious . Location was prime but prefer easier access with luggage at ground level

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms, great amenities, good breakfast buffet, convenient location. The only negative thing I can think of is the the public bath was very basic so I ended up just bathing in my room instead. I wish the public bath had an extra amenity or feature.
Our favorite hotel in Sapporo!
Room: We booked the Classy King room for 2 people and it was spacious and clean! We were very happy with the amenities and features in the room.
Lounge: Classy rooms include access to their lounge which has coffee/tea and desserts throughout the day. It's a good space to relax or catch on up some work.
Dining: The salmon flakes set was delicious and breakfast buffet was tasty with a wide array of fresh food.
Location: The hotel is directly attached to Sapporo Station near exit 9, very convenient during the winter when it's too cold to walk outside.

Very good hotel : location, rooms, breakfast, all perfect.
New, nicely designed hotel, super convenient location. Staffs are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is sumptuous with good quality selections. Only issues are soft pillows and rather hard mattress. It would be better to provide 2 types of pillows in the room. Also the dressing area is quite dark, the warm down light is not conducive for doing makeup. Despite these small issues, we would still recommend and stay again. We didn't notice the construction site noise as our room faced the other side.
I’m so glad The Gate Hotel finally opened a location in Sapporo! I always stay at this hotel chain every time I’m in Tokyo !
Excellent location about 8 minutes walk from Sapporo station via subway level and never have to go up to street level! Great winner is raining or snowing. The only negative was the construction across the street can be noisy from time to time and they work through the night on some days of the week!
The entire staff was very helpful & friendly!
The reception is on the 10th floor and have to switch elevator to get to our rooms! The breakfast is a bit inconsistent but never overcrowded during our 5 night stay! A huge plus was the hotel shipped two of my luggage to Tokyo’s Ryogoku location at no cost!
The hotel location is superb, right in the heart of Sapporo. It offers easy access to Sapporo Station (Namboku and Toho Lines) and is also within walking distance to Odori and Susukino via the underground passage. Do note that the underpass connection closes at 10:30 pm, so it is best to return to the hotel before then.
The room was very clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. However, there was a slightly unusual experience regarding housekeeping. As I did not require room cleaning during my 6-night stay, I initially declined the service. Despite this, the hotel staff insisted on conducting housekeeping on Day 4, citing it as their policy to clean every few days. I was not given the option to refuse, and when I continued to decline, the staff came in briefly to do what appeared to be a quick inspection of the room.
This felt somewhat unnecessary, as it is unlikely for guests to cause any significant issues within just a few days. Nonetheless, aside from this, the overall experience was positive, and I would consider staying here again.
