We stayed here bc hotels.com didn’t actually make my reservation when I did so we found out on the flight from Seattle to Kona that we didn’t have a place to stay. 2 stars for hotels.com bc the customer service was helpful (this time) but this is the second time this has happened. "This was a very convenient nice place to stay. Little kitchenette was great, very clean. If you were traveling with a family would be great lots of beds and storage areas. Beautiful garden area."

"Mike was a great host and gave us easy ideas about entertaining kids. Also directions to find food and other services nearby. The place is like a dormitory, no frills, but everything you need for preparing you own food and getting a good nights rest. It’s an older lodge but everything was sparkling clean and well-maintained. I’d recommend it to friends."
