"We did not spend anytime in the main building as we were visiting family. The room we had the courtyard was cosy and comfortable. The castle setting is amazing in its own grounds next to golfcourse and quiet. We will be booking again to spend time here and have a room in the castle its self"

"Very attractive grounds and hotel facade. Internal amenities were reasonable. But restaurant was dire....both dinner and evening meal, disappointing after / before long drive. It photographed well on the website but I should have taken the time to look at the menu...clue would have been there."

"The food was all really nice, rooms could be better, with small changes like additional sockets near the bed and usb sockets for charging phones etc. but I can't fault the staff or the quality of the food. Food & drinks prices were reasonable the breakfasts were good quality and plentiful, dinner had a great selection of options and all generous portions. The bar and restaurant staff were all pleasant and keen to interact with the guests. So in summary change some sockets to usb sockets and you have a solid 10/10 from me. "
