Lovely place, sadly we only booked one night and arrived after dark , so didn't really have chance to use all the amenities, kayak's etc . The cabin we stayed in was lovely , and great communication from the staff ( Deb ) and recommendations for coffee & breakfast the following morning . Would stay again if in the area .

We had a very comfortable stay, the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the garden and river access. It was an easy walk to the beach. We found the common areas inside very quaint, it felt like an olde worlde Grandmas house.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this beautiful traditional family owned property (2 rooms/cabins). It was a perfect reset after 5 nights spent in NYC, the surroundings were so peaceful and well maintained as were the rooms. Great to see some local wildlife on the grounds at times too. Wonderful stay in a beautiful, historic inn. The staff was always very helpful. My room (I actually got upgraded to an available suite) was gorgeous. Breakfast options were great as well. Thank you again!

Wonderful location in town, walking distance to restaurants / shops etc. the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I woke not wanting to move. The sheets were so luxurious and bed so comfy. We got the hotel shuttle to the beach driven by a wonderful lady, so friendly and helpful. The hotel provided deck chairs, a parasol and towels. We would stay there again without hesitation. Beautiful hotel ,staff very efficient and friendly lifts to the rooms were very fast Lovely size room with very comfortable beds ,lovely view over the pool and the lake from the room. Breakfast was not included in our booking but we paid for the breakfast in the hotel which was very filling and varied each morning plenty of coffee available also fresh fruit pancakes and eggs. Don’t get why you need to pay for parking. An extra money making exercise. Plenty of dining options in walkable distance. Breakfast had a large selection
