"Nice hotel in a great spot for all things downtown. Would stay there again. Felt very safe. Disappointed the bistro and starbucks/bar were unavailable 10:30-5:30pm because the food was fantastic and the hotel coffee bar that is included with breakfast was promptly stripped once breakfast was over... or earlier. Room was very clean, and I liked the setup with a separate bedroom because so much light pours through the gap under the door to the hall with the lights on all night in the hall. Shower soaked the bathroom floor if I didn't completely block it with my body, so be careful getting out. There was also a dip in the mattress on my side, but I think the other side was ok. We checked in after midnight, and the concierge staff were kind and helpful at all hours. The lady cleaning up breakfast has no concept of hospitality as she was clearly bothered we didn't have our breakfast plated earlier. She had pulled the coffee creamer and was breaking down breakfast before the end time, and then proceeded to tell us it was after the end time..several times. After she cleaned up the food area, she warned us she was ready to clean the table area where we were sitting and another man was doing work on his computer. We did come at the end of breakfast, but were weren't late. That was disappointing. Hotel garage was convenient. "

"No bathtubs and no vent fan in the bathrooms. Refrigerator so small we couldn’t even fit 2 styrofoam take out boxes in it. No laundry facility on site to wash my daughter’s uniform so had to go 4 miles down the road and sit at a laundry mat. The absolute worst part of the stay was the paper thin walls. I literally could hear my neighbors entire conversation using their regular voice. Location is okay and beds are mediocre. Unfortunately, for the price and lack of amenities , not a good value…:will not be staying here again."

"Embassy Suites sure knows how to create the best breakfast experience……made to order omelets and numerous other options to meet everyone’s breakfast needs. The breakfast staff was excellent and very accommodating. Your valet crew was very courteous and accommodating, even having to retrieve our car twice on check out day, due to issues. The front desk lady upon our arrival was one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever dealt with in a position of that nature. The hotel was very aware there was a marathon in town (our exuberant rate showed it) and when asked if we could have an extended check out time so our runners could shower before traveling home, she quickly said “No, and I don’t know why everyone is asking of such!” I also asked if an early breakfast would be available for the runners before hitting the start line, that was also met with a quick No! We have stayed in other hotels in Knoxville for said marathon who allowed a little later check out time AND provided a simple bag breakfast with a protein bar, banana and other items to accommodate the runners. If you are going to charge almost $600 for one night, be a little more accommodating AND professional about things. Very nice exquisite establishment, but when your top person acts in such a manner……the beauty of the building and its amenities mean nothing!! Do better Embassy Suites with your choices for management. Will choose another hotel next year for Knoxville Marathon, cause you’re not the only game in town."
