"Almost everything about the hotel was excellent - EXCEPT that our room had terrible noise insulation from the outside. I think that the windows were not fitted correctly (or a bad design) because we could hear the very noisy highway (in front of the hotel) all night, and we could hardly sleep. It is perhaps only some rooms that have these bad windows, because there are so many good reviews from people. If you are lucky, you may get a room that does NOT face Osaka (or that the windows are shut properly) so it is quiet. I tried fiddling with the windows to try to close them better, but it was impossible. It is a real shame, because (apart from the noise) this was a terrific hotel. The reception was super helpful, the rooms were huge, the ameneties they supplied were terrific, the beds were comfortable. Basically, EVERYTHING was really great except for the noise from the cars zooming by at the front. We only stayed one night, so we just put up with it. But I can't recommend staying here, just in case you got our room!"

"The rooms in Japan are all small…Villa Fontaine included. The hotel feels new, the rooms were very clean, staff was very efficient and very helpful. They clean your room EVERYDAY! Breakfast is traditional Japanese which I love! Airconditioning was great! Super cold! Loved it! Shower and water closet are separate. I would definitely come back and stay here"
