The front desk manager felt the need to argue with us over whether or not breakfast was included. We paid for breakfast (through Expedia) displayed the paperwork and the manager proceeded to say she's not responsible for what a third party lists. She did not want to give us free breakfast but after arguing with her she sighed and said she would let us have breakfast. Terrible customer service. Terrible attitude. I would NEVER stay here again.

Be ready ro pay for everything, WiFi free only for 30 minutes per day, otherwise you have to pay for it. Only one type of soap to shower, bring tour own products and if you're driving be ready to pay extra per day. The breakfast was good, but then again it's not included with your reservation

Carpet wasn’t clean, beds were not what I was expecting in that they were roll away beds, rather than actual beds. It was fine for one night, but nothing more.
Separate complaint will be sent to Travelodge.
Booked in early for £10.00 only to be shown to a room that smelled of smoke/we think old and in the furnishings, carpet was terribly stained , dirty and not hoovered. Hair in bathroom floor and built up dirt all around bathroom floor edges. Both mirrors in the room unclean. Window sill dirty.
We had stayed here on our arrival at Gatwick airport as well and when we asked the reception person on to call us a taxi a very unsafe situation occurred which has been since reported and met with indifference by that at same person when we returned 6 weeks later. The only positive thing to say is that the cafe/ bar staff appear to work hard trying to keep a very run down space clean. It is not their fault seats are ripped, paint is off the walls and management seems uncaring. Never again!!!
Close to countryside and airport. Spacious room, comfy bed. Helpful staff.
The negative, sparsely furnished. No surface to sort possessions and foreign money, after long haul flight.
Hotel is a 5 minute drive AWAY FROM AIRPORT. Limited transportation. Airport bus is up to 8 euros one way. Taxi is b/n 17-30 euros each way.
Breakfast is questionably free with limited food containing bagel (only butter/jam), bacon, sausage, cereal.
Allows late checkin with friendly staff. Checkout 12pm which was very nice.
