"Place was modern and safe, and parking was ample and accessible. Location in Eagle Rock is conveniently close to Glendale, Pasadena and Old Town Pasadena, and Eagle Rock itself has many restaurants. Vending machine only takes bills and a few other things made me award 4 instead of 5 stars in a few categories. But I would stay here again!"

"We only stayed one night, but the office manager was excellent, very efficient and helpful. We traveled with our dog, and the $50 pet fee was straightforward and easy to manage. Parking was also convenient for our oversized vehicle, since it was too tall for the garage."

"The Hotel.com listing had a fireplace in the photo.. there was not one in the room... NOT the motel's fault. This is a VERY nice place to stay!"

"No smoke detector. No drinking cups. No iron, ironing board, or microwave. There was a fridge, and one hanger in a closet with no door. The tub faucet had a continuous, dribbling leak. Two thin pillows and two thin towels. Multiple broken window slats, making privacy impossible in a ground-floor unit. Only one accessible outlet, with a loose cover and plugs. Wall unit would produce only anemic air conditioning and no heat."

"I loved my stay at this hotel. I stayed for two nights. When I first checked in, my room was next to a service closet and the elevator. I have a tough time sleeping and thought that was something I could handle for one night, but probably not two. After thinking about it, I went down to the front desk and asked about switching to another room for the next night. Marielle was super kind and understanding, and moved me right then rather than splitting the stay between two rooms. My new room was the best, and I slept better there than I have in a long time! The hotel itself is beautiful. A mix of historic charm with modern amenities. The bartender makes a killer drink, and the pool deck and courtyard are so relaxing. The hotel attracts a good mix of people and they all seemed to enjoy the spaces of the hotel. Lots of folks in the lobby, hanging out, playing games, reading, and whatnot. The best part of this hotel is the entire staff. Derrick and Marielle at the front desk are top notch. They went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable! I would definitely stay here again."
