"So So. We booked for the whole day, but really only required it for four hours rest. There were minuses experienced within this time frame however. When I asked a staff member to change a five hundred rupee note, he scrutinized it very blatantly in front of third parties for several moments. His actions appeared to be exaggerated and designed in my opinion, to make me look suspicious in public view. This was uncalled for. "Okay 'budget' hotel with average facilities. Staff do their best to provide good service. We stayed in 1/2 dozen different hotels over 2 1/2 weeks in India. None are up to Western standards, but non were poor either. Important note if you are asking for directions to the hotel - the correct name is "Hotel Mani Ram Palace", not "Hotel Maniram." The locals gave blank stares when we asked for the Maniram. "

Exceptional Hospitality
"Let me start with saying that we were exceptionally pleased with the Staff of the property and their food and beverage Department. We had a medical episode related to the property while at the property and everyone was super courteous and swung into action immediately. In adversity there are two paths for any business, turn that adversity into a positive experience or destroy the guest experience. This property did the former and very commendable. They all showed compassion, empathy and concern which is 80% of the battle. Special thanks to the GM Gagan Nagpal, F&B Manager, Chef and the entire front staff. All went beyond call of duty which is truly commendable. Will highly recommend this property. "
