"A unique and apparently very popular experience, but a former asylum may not be everyone's cup of tea. Very well kept rooms with good amenities. Really enjoyed our stay. Nevertheless although I genuinely rate this hotel 5* The breakfast that morning was a total and unmitigated disaster, despite the General Manager's intervention and especially the waitress' extraordinary efforts way, way, above and beyond to soothe patient waiting customers, and one or two less patient... The dining room emptied of patrons some of which had waited 70 minutes for their order to appear. Three patient tables remained while a dish or two turned up for missing customers. Apparently a new chef from The Dominican Republic had been hired that day, who only read and spoke Spanish. He was actually given a menu in Spanish, but apparently did not know how to cook the menu items, or cope with permutations. Order was taken immediately. We waited 45+ minutes. My daughter was then served well poached "Eggs Benedict" in some kind of cheese sauce. My omelette arrived too. It was very nice indeed, but our waitress finally admitted that she actually cooked it herself! Now that is a First in my book! <8-O"

"The bathroom was dirty the finish was peeling in the shower and there was black in ALL the crevices water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom. The pool was closed we weren't allowed to use it AND I never got my room deposit back which is wild because I left that room cleaner then how I got it."

"Quick stay before early flight. Comfortable, spacious room. Longterm parking and airport shuttle were convenient and reliable. Will book again"

"The staff were not very helpful. The front desk person didn't let us know that we had to put a parking pass in our car when he gave us our keys. We found out about the parking pass after we got to our room. So we had to go out to our car again! He was also not helpful when we told him the wifi was not working. The waffle maker was not functioning properly. The insides of the waffles were not cooked through."
