This is a lovely horel in a quiet area of the old historic area. This staff were very welcoming and gave us a map and gave us advice on restaurants and attractions. A very comfortable bed with lovely linen and fluffy towels. Grat breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again.

One of the best concierge and customer service teams I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. From booking dinners to recommending activities even at short notice. Hotel, quality, room and breakfast were also excellent with no complaints.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel Minerva. The location is minutes from the train station on a lovely pedestrianised piazza, and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay - we hadn’t booked tickets to the sights but they managed to get us tickets for the Accademia to see the statue of David. We have travelled all over the world and have to say our 4 day trip to Florence was fantastic and made even better by the hotel, the room and the staff could not have been better. Nothing we asked of them was a problem no matter how small and the hotel location is perfect.

Perfect breakfast, with a complimentary 10 minute massage after - made for an excellent start to the day. Great central location, close to everything.
Relaxed atmosphere. Brilliant that the gym next door can be used for free.
Very happy staying here.

Centrally located, high quality furnishings and bathrooms. Only thing is we would have liked to have one large bottle of complimentary water rather than having to refill ourselves. Breakfast was great and the lady who runs it kind and helpful.
Enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend or stay again.

Have just stayed here for one week mid June. Very peaceful hotel, once a mill, with walled gardens, swimming pool and views over the river and weir. Beautifully decorated inside with many seating areas, and a delightful courtyard. Restaurant has awning covered eating area too. Other private areas with tables chairs and parasols.
Room spotless with marble fittings in bathroom and air conditioning, safe and mini fridge. Soft white cotton bed linen and thick fluffy towels.

The hotel was beautiful and kept impeccably clean. It was situated within walking distance of the city centre and was very close to public transport stops.
