"Hotel with an excellent location. Very friendly staff, good breakfast selection. Second time of staying at this hotel and would definitely stay again. Shuutle sevice ro the airport is an added bonus. "

"The building is a little old, but the apartment was new and nice. We had a little trouble at first to find it as the address does not specify which of the two Galleries it is (A or B). The place is really close to the train station (less than a 5 minutes walk) and you can find a lot of stores and restaurants nearby. The room was conformable, but the bathrooms weren't always available, as we were sharing the apartment with 4 other people. "

"Lots of problems with non working showers and air conditioning units. Very old units. Switched rooms after viewing 3 more. The air conditioner quit during the night, so it was very hot. Fixed the next day and then it quit again that night. I had to shut it off for an hour to thaw it out and restart. The view from the hotel is beautiful. They rooms need updating."

"The Alba is located a short 3 minute walk from SMN station. Close to cafes, shops and supermarkets and only 10 minutes to Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo. The rooms are as shown in the photos with comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The shower was compact though. There was nowhere to store your luggage or any shelving in the bathroom but ok for a short stay. Happy to recommend."

"This was my second stay at this property. The staff is always wonderful. The ladies who work the breakfast service are so sweet. The hotel is clean and in a perfect location to walk to everything you want to see in Florence. It’s less than 5 min to walk to the Duomo, 10 min walk to Accademia, 5 min walk from the train, across the street from the central market. There’s a great bar next door too. Perfect for first time visitors to Florence. "
