Owner invited us for a beer on arrival and helped point us in the right direction for somewhere good to eat that night. Property is laid out very well and room was spacious and clean with wonderful views on the bay. Did not get to use pool unfortunately ad we arrived close to sunset and left early the jext morning. We stayed here for 3 nights April 2015 arriving from the UK. Hotel is in a quiet location excellently placed for exploring the Cape. Cape Town is 35 minutes away. Discrete and gracious owners and staff. Very helpful in providing us with touring information, dinner reservations and transport to the cruise terminal. Lovely clean accommodation

The apartments are privately owned and then rented out to visitors - our apartment was a 1 bedroom with a lovely living/lounge/kitchen area with a parking space. We stayed for 3 nights - it has very good security and the grounds are very well kept - there is a pool area central to the apartment blocks - though there were no sun loungers or even seats so had to take our beach towels to sit on. friendly check in. nice room with plenty of space and efficient AC. bit difficult to walk back from the excellent restaurant in the dark though. food very good with full a la carte menu with good choice of wine and beer - thoroughly recommended. only drawback was having to leave a 500 rand key deposit (although I understand the reasoning)

Staff courtesy was excellent the room was due refurbishment after we left. Shuttle was frequent to other resorts and shops. One concern is that you are not allowed in the palace

Lovely location, great views and a very peaceful stay. Looking forward to a return visit next year.
