Comfortable beds and a lovely big room. Really quiet apart from the room doors which slam extremely loudly!! Breakfast delicious and plentiful - and not a paper plate in sight 😊 Convenient to shops and eateries and an easy drive into Portland.

This hotel was gorgeous! Only stayed one night, but wished it was longer. We opted for a suite, which was huge, and came with a fireplace, a balcony, and a whirlpool bath. The setting was very quiet - you can see the river on one side. Breakfast was nice, but a bit limited in the selection available. Other reviews mentioned the bakery items, but the only bakery item was the croissants (pre-filled with ham and cheese). No hot food (although we knew this). None the less the overall stay was...

We had a riverview room with a well equipped kitchenette and full sized fridge (which was quite noisy as was the air conditioning). The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and we appreciated the binoculars and bird guide in our room to make the most of the views through the trees to the river. Really nice hotel in a great location but careful as they don’t have maid service unless you ask. We were told this at check in to be fair and asked that we have it (nothing worse on holiday than being out all day and coming back to wet towels and unmade beds) but they still didn’t do it then basically told us we never asked!!!!!! Shame as great little hotel.

Lovely spacious room and comfy beds

A gem of a property. The room was large and comfortable with nice amenities. Free entry into the gardens for residents and it was nice that so long as you are in before they close, you can exit back to the resort on your own time. Check in staff were friendly, but when checking out, I wasn’t acknowledged and felt like i had disturbed the receptionist when I asked what to do with the key. The rooms in this hotel all have large picture windows looking straight out at the beach and the Pacific Ocean. I sat and watched the sunrise and the sunset. There is also a private access down to the beach from the terrace. The breakfast varied each day and was plentiful. The room was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. A lovely hotel in a stunning location.
