"Nicely updated older property. I checked in after the staff had left for the day, so I didn't interact with any. Great Norwegian/Scandi restaurant downstairs. Would stay again."

Astoria is a Oregon beach town with benefits. A little larger, a little less 'beachy,' and with a community and population not solely dependent on tourism, this town has an identity formed, but not dominated by its location and history.

Have always loved Astoria. Quaint, historic, and friendly with beautiful architecture. Great town for all types of dining, & one can get fresh fish to take home. Love the Sunday Market too! It starts on Mothers Day.

Wow! Downtown Astoria sure has changed for the better! Lot's of shopping, distilleries, brew pubs, antique shops, great seafood restaurants, waterfront monuments etc. Very nice
"I am very pleased with my stay Best Western. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. I would definitely come back. My only complaint is the softness of the beds. I prefer beds that are a little more firm. That is just my personal preference. "

"The bed was comfortable and supportive. The bath tub was wide and big for soaking. You can see the Goonies House from the parking lot! The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, oatmeal and standard continental fare. The front desk lady was very friendly and pointed out places we could eat and visit. "
"I was hesitant to book because of some of the negative reviews, after weeks of debating I decided to book it. Going into it expecting the worse, we were pleasantly surprised. Great view and there is a tavern on the same block that serves food and also two food trucks across the street. I would definitely stay again. The bathroom fan didn't work but it didn't affect my stay. The free breakfast serves it's purpose. Each room has a small balcony with 2 chairs."
