"Clean room, great amenities, friendly and inviting staff"

"My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in April 2026 and we will not be going back. Although the property and beach is beautiful, the staff was not friendly AT ALL. They were rude, not timely, and seemed bothered for being there... especially if we requested something. Additionally, it was so hard for us to get any dinner reservations on their app so we were stuck with either the buffet or having to fight with the restaurant hostess and manager to give us a table when we saw the restaurants were more than half empty. The only good restaurant experience we had was at the Mexican restaurant where the food was good and the staff was actually pleasant and happy to be there. A true shame as the resort itself was beautiful."

"Food was not seasoned and not as hot as I expected. Rooms needed updating. Cleaning lady was very rude the first day because I asked for a wash cloth. My refrigerator was leaking the first night. AC was cut at 22 so it feels humid and you feel hot. Would not recommend this hotel. The waiters and bartender was great!! That the only part. Jose is the best bartender. "

"The hotel is very good. The buffet food was excellent, the pool is large, and the bar offers great service. The staff is very helpful, and the nightly shows were very enjoyable as well. My only complaint is about the credits that Expedia offers to VIP clients. It would be great if the gift shop were included, because in the other places where you can use the credit, you have to spend a certain amount to receive a discount, and there is a specific minimum required to apply it."

"Just got back from Serenade. The week was all sun. Beach was nice and breezy. Water had a lot of Sargassum unfortunately, but we managed to find open sections in the water where it was clear. The pools and water pools were simply amazing. I think we spend 7 hours there some days. Food was A La Carte were pretty good. The Cut was 9/10, Olivo was 8/10. The buffet was 7/10. House keeping and refilling the mini fridge was spot on. Overall it was a nice vacation and I would definitely come back. Don't believe all the negative posts!! We didn't get sick, we didn't see any bugs. This resort is spotless and the everyone working there was always in a good mood."
