"Hotel location is good, close to public transport and restaurants. Room is typical Japanese standard, on the small side. Room was centrally heated/controlled, so can't adjust. It is extremely warm for such a small room, had to open window slightly to cool. Do not recommend buffet breakfast at 1800 yen. Overall, it was good."

"Not great for couples / friends travelling unless you have young kids. Basically a mini resort hotel filled with families and young children. Onsen was decent and the outdoor pool is nice. Property is in the middle of nowhere, about a 40min drive to the nearest town. You do get a breakfast and dinner buffet included and while the food is fairly good its the same every day."

"We loved our stay at SnowDog. The staff was so kind, responsive, and helped us to book ski passes, ski rentals, ski lessons, transportation, and dining during our 5 day stay. It was so nice to have a kitchen set up in our suite, and ski storage and life shuttle service, for such a great price. We would definitely recommend and stay again. "
