As luck would have it, Dalhousie experienced heavy snowfall during that week and roads leading up to Aamod was closed to traffic as a safety measure. I was told that the only option of reaching Aamod was by walking on foot, in ankle deep slippery snow on an uphill terrain measuring 4 to 5 Km. "Heavily overpriced as the hotel is not maintained. One of the pillars is tilted and the slab is slanting. The structure in dilapidated condition. The TV was not working till night. The bed is basic. Stray dogs in the compound. Food is average. Would not recommend."
