When I informed them that I had lost my phone somewhere in the hotel, they went above and beyond all my expectations in helping me to try and find it. "its a lovely hotel, fabulous view, comfortable accomodation. the lake walk is pleasant, and the walkway maintained to make it reasonably accessible but not fully pushchair / wheelchair capable. its great that its dog friendly and animals are allowed in and around the place food is very nice, all made to a very high standard. it is pricy but its very pleasant and you dont feel short changed. a good location for a special event. "

"We had wonderful break after not going anywhere at all for 10 months. Hotel lovely and so accommodating. Asked for room near lift and they placed us so well close to lift and restaurant as I have mobility issues at the moment. Would highly recommend as wonderful views of scenery."

"Stayed overnight on a dinner bed and breakfast rate. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was nice but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade, that being said it was very clean. Inner was fantastic all meals are homemade to a very high standard not a frozen item to be seen. Breakfast again was a good. Very central to the centre of Lancaster. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."
