Xandari Pearl is a great Hotel for Marari Beach..it has pathway that goes straight to the beach. The room I had was a mini villa with a small garden and hammock. The only thing to be aware is that the toilet and shower is enclosed but open to the outdoors so may take getting used to. Also no TV in the room but wifi was fast and stable. We took a 2 day houseboat from Alleppey booked through the resort (beware of cheaper houseboats that will disappoint you) and had the experience of a lifetime.It was simply amazing to be able to experience and share the daily lives of the people who live by the backwaters. Lovely, well maintained hotel, pool and gardens . The staff committed , knowledgeable and friendly. Dinners in the History restaurant were without exception delicious, especially the First Class Railway Mutton Curry which was outstanding. These were preceded by a visit to the bar, over which knowledgeable barmen preside. All in all, a wonderful stay and the next door ferry was never a problem for us, indeed we think we will miss the throbbing motor which we found quite comforting.

Lots of free activities to keep you busy, amazing setting and unique rooms. Great food and drinks as well, we loved it wish we had have stayed longer.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by wonderful staff. Food was great, room was perfect. Beautiful hotel, well decorated and designed. The staff are genuine and really care about their guests. Perfect airport transfer service too. Stay here!

Great place to stay while you visit Kochi as it is in a good location close to the fishing nets/beach, restaurants and spice markets. Rooms are clean and have good shower facilities and the breakfast provided was excellent with plenty of good food (continental or Keralan) available. There was always more food than I could eat so I was never left hungry :o) We stayed here on arrival in Kochi and again before we left as we liked it so much. Definitely would recommend to people who have kids...
