"The beach view was amazing! The room was almost like a temporary studio apartment, very nice hotel quality but almost like an air bnb so it felt homey. We had a full size fridge and a two burner induction stove top. There are also plates, a pan/ pot and cooking/ eating utensils (plus many other kitchen gadgets)! Room was very clean and you can crack a window for some ventilation. Plenty of storage for bags and extras. Bathroom was very clean with a stand shower, plus soap/ lotion and shampoo/ conditioner. Ceiling fans and an air conditioner. Upfront staff was very nice and explained where to park. Area is lovely and the street is pretty quiet. No extra fees that weren’t listed which was very nice. All in all great stay and for a really great price, definitely recommend!"

"This hotel was perfect for a weekend away. The location was perfect, with private parking and direct access to the beach. They even have beach chairs to use, which was a pleasant surprise. All of the staff were kind and attentive. The room was spacious and very clean. The only downside was there is not a ton insulation in the floors and walls. We were next to the stairs and could clearly hear people talking and walking up and down. We could also hear the neighbors above us walking in early hours. It’s not something that would deter me from ever going back, but if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, I would suggest a room on the top floor away from the stairs. "

"Wonderfull staff. Real helpful in changing a date (our error) when we booked a second night. Unfortunately, Hotels.com we had trouble understanding the agent we spoke with and communication was really difficult. After an hour plus with help of Cathy, desk clerk at Hotel Bethany Beach we finally were able to get date changed on reservation. The kindness of all the staff to make your stay is superb. They serve a fine breakfast and room was extra clean and comfortable. Highly recommend Hotel Bethany Beach. "
