"This property is beautifully designed. Employees are very friendly and helpful - all of them. They work really hard to give you the perfect stay. The restaurants are amazing and the presentation of dishes are stellar. They have many activities planned throughout the day. There is always something to do. The shows at night are very entertaining, and well planned. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 6 nights. "

"We had a wonderful vacation!. Carlos, at check in was very helpful, we were upgraded to Premium room in El Beso because of mobility issues. Faviana with guest services was great at helping us get checked in to airline for return trip. All of the food was outstanding. Dimas, Fernando, Alejandro, Antonio, Gabriel, Ricardo were all excellent waitstaff. El Beso pool bar-Ricardo was wonderful. The bed had a new, very comfortable mattress, 3 pillows on each side of the bed. Housekeeping did an excellent job. One cup coffee maker in the room was enough to get the day started, then on to Mike's Coffee. We ate breakfast at the buffet everyday, and once for lunch, wonderful variety and Antonio was amazing. We asked for him each time. All the restaurants were great, but we enjoyed the Villa Marina-it's a Brazilian steakhouse, the most. Will stay again soon."

"Excellence Riviera Cancun is a spectacular property! Beautiful rooms, activities are tons of fun, swim up bar definite must! The restaurants are far better than any other resort I’ve been to in the area. No need to make reservations, you aren’t limited on what you can order on the menus. Chez Isabella, French-top notch food and service! The Grill, steakhouse, Lobster House-grilled lobster is wonderful. Make sure to catch Agave when they serve their special very authentic menu for the week-I think it’s on Wednesdays. Off the hook! Big shout out to Pablo at the Terrace Bar-he made our stay extra fun! If you’re going in the summer-the seaweed problem is gross! Excellence is one of the few resorts that keeps their beach clean but the smell and murkiness of the water due to the overgrowth of seaweed-no one really uses the beach in the summer. This is a problem all over riviera Maya coast in the summer, except for Isla Mujares.
