"Great location. Great service, great pool"

"Check-in was quick and easy. Safe location. Relatively good location if you have a rental car. Very clean room. Cleaning staff and on-site chauffeurs were fantastic. Uncomfortable mattress but comfortable sheets and pillows. Grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Lots of wildlife flying and trekking through the property. Pools and hot springs had lower-end resort vibes (like too many people at swim-up bar, kids running around, TONS of day-pass guests and large groups) rather than the high-end resort this purports to be. The Arenal viewpoint on property provides beautiful views. Definitely worth the drive up. Food was decent enough even though they messed up my dinner after being alerted of allergies. I didn't trust them after that so I didn't even eat included breakfast. Husband informed me the breakfast was an average buffet. Overall, a mixed experience."

"Our bed was super comfy, the AC was quiet and efficient. Breakfast was quite good. Proximity and convenience to airport was great and shuttle drivers were very kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend."

"I spent my time on the beach. The pools were nice. There was a variety of food options but the restaurants are buffet not made to order. In the evening, there was no hot water for late night showers."

"My stay at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica was absolutely amazing. I arrived early due to my flight, and although my room wasn’t ready until 3 PM, the receptionist didn’t charge anything extra and gave me full access to all amenities and restaurants right away. The all-inclusive package was definitely worth it. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee spots, so it never felt repetitive. The food was excellent with lots of variety, and the drinks were always high quality. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The resort is beautiful, with a unique black sand beach. I had an ocean view room, and the views were breathtaking. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with water, soft drinks, wine, and beer. I especially loved the Hollywood-themed setup and the autographed movie collections—it added a fun and unique touch. The tour desk was very helpful and booked a great catamaran trip for me. I also appreciated not feeling pressured about tipping. Even though I booked late for reserved restaurants, the staff helped me get in. There were also plenty of free activities and amazing night entertainment. Special thanks to Emilio, David, Daiana, and Karina for making my stay even more memorable. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend."

"Very nice pool area. Lunch and dinner food wasn’t great and a little pricey. Breakfast was very good though. Rooms were very nice, but weren’t stocked with any towels. Room service took over 1.5 hours before we gave up on waiting."
