"The breakfast is very good and served in front of the sea. A very nice view. The rooms in front of the sea had also a very nice view. The room was clean and big. The bed was king with very good pillows. Near the hotel had a lot of nice restaurants. "

"Wonderful place. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staffs. They have golf carts help us to go up and down since the hotel is on a hill. Security guard are very attentive. We met the animals living among us( monkeys and iguanas, birds). I am very pleased to pick this hotel!"

"This is a 5 star resort with 5 star staff that work there. The only thing negative is the fact that it’s a bit isolated so it’s not easy to walk into the “town” of Manuel Antonio. They have overcome most of that with scheduled shuttle vans to the public beaches. And the drivers are very kind and accommodating regarding the drop off locations and time frames. The food for breakfast was exceptional as was the food at the restaurants on site. Well done!"

"We had an amazing stay at The Falls Resort in Manuel Antonio .The premises were extremely clean, beautiful, and surrounded by a very natural atmosphere that made the experience feel peaceful and relaxing. Housekeeping was perfect and kept everything spotless throughout our stay. The food was also a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all incredibly delicious with great variety and quality. The location was ideal as well, close to nearby beaches and convenient for getting around. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Costa Rica!"

"This hotel is an absolute dream! The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable and private. The pools are gorgeous, especially the saltwater infinity pool where you can relax and watch the most magnificent sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. Food is excellent, and drink selections at all the bars are fantastic, made with natural fruit and premium spirits. Don’t forget to check out the small private beach, where you’ll find white-faced capuchin monkeys swinging from the trees. A stay at Makanda will make Manuel Antonio even more magical!"

"I stayed here with two of my friends for the last leg of our Costa Rica trip to celebrate my 40th birthday and cannot say enough good things about this hotel! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We also had a gorgeous patio as well as a rooftop terrace, which was wonderful for enjoying coffee in the mornings and watching the macaws 🤗 Our personal concierge, Stephanie, was incredibly helpful and communicative during our stay. She checked in on us each day and helped to coordinate dinner reservations in town, taxi rides and even a private cooking class onsite for us at the hotel! ☺️ The hotel is beautifully positioned at the top of a hill, with excellent views of the ocean, and wildlife. We saw macaws everyday, as well as toucans and parakeets. I highly recommend taking the complimentary scarlet macaw tour on the property to learn more about the native wildlife. We saw three sloths on our tour, including a mom +baby! If you are visiting Manuel Antonio, I highly recommend booking your stay at Gaia!"
