"Lua Villas and the staff are wonderful! The beach is just a few minutes walk, and is truly magical, especially at sunset. It is also conveniently located walking distance to several excellent restaurants and a small supermarket. I highly recommend. "
"The villas are beautiful and very comfortable. Spacious and plenty of space. The beach club has incredible food and drinks.
We will definitely be back ❤️"
"We loved our stay at Nautilus. It was a perfect location close to plenty of restaurants and shops. It was a short walk to amazing sunsets on the beach. The room was perfect for our needs and our 2 day stay in Santa Teresa. The pool was lovely and the environs quiet and well manacured. We would definitely stay here again. "
"We had an amazing time at this brand new stylish hotel. It’s located close to the beach, next to good restaurants. Everybody was super friendly, we would definitely come again!"

Santa Teresa was very lively and youthful. The surf and yoga community gives a laid back vibe. The sunsets were stunning. The crown is a bit dusty but didn't bother us.

Excellent
This place has a great vibe and the beach / surfing is awesome but the road system and road conditions are very poor

A fabulous, casual, surf friendly town. Excellent restaurants, beautiful beach and lovely, friendly people.

Good
Calle Cóbano needs paving badly, walking and driving around the potholes are a nightmare especially during the rainy season. Otherwise a grand spot, with hip shops, bars and restaurants, some with the most delicious food!

Some good dining options but not cheap. Good to hire ATV's and explore the area to include waterfall at Montezuma.

Unfortunately has become dirtier over the years. But people are friendly and the beach beautiful. Lots of options to eat delicious!
"This place was ideal for our stay. Highly walkable to the beach, town, and dining options. The pool was a huge bonus and the kids loved it. The morning wake-up from the howler monkeys was next level cool."
"We had a really good time at Zula. Loved the junior suite amenities. Nice and comfortable bedding, full kitchen and quiet location. Highly recommended."
"Absolutely loved our stay at Nantipa. Their staff is all amazing and so attentive. They truly care about their customers & every interaction we had with them was pleasant. They day we arrived it was my husbands birthday, they had a mini birthday cake waiting for us in our room. The day we were leaving they left us a little gift in our room & even offered to pack a breakfast box to go since we had to leave really early
In the morning. It's details like this that make customers happy and want to return. Thank you all for making our stay here wonderful. Would recommend this place to anyone. 10000/10"
"The stay at the villa was wonderful, a very short walk from the sea, private parking, from the balcony you can see a lot of green views and treetops. The personal pool was perfect and the hospitality of the owner was great. The house itself is very beautifully decorated and located in a very quiet area. I enjoyed every moment and look forward to coming back again"
"Amazing views and the terrace with the jacuzzi is absolutely worth it. Daily cleaning with fresh towels, coffee/tea refills, and everything left spotless.
The bed was super big and very comfortable. They even left us a complimentary bottle of wine. The reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful, both via WhatsApp and in person.
The road is steep but manageable with an SUV (no 4x4 needed), and walking takes just 7–10 minutes. We loved that it’s away from the busy center—much more peaceful and the views are way better.
Only downside: the kitchen is minimally equipped (just two glasses, two plates, one pan), and lacks basics like salt or oil. Also, most of the fridge space is taken by minibar items (for purchase).
Still, we highly recommend it!"
