"If you fancy a comfortable, clean and friendly Dorset inn with the best of breakfasts and delicious high quality meals, book in at The Marquis of Lorne. Surrounded by wonderful views, walking paths and close to the sea. Great for relaxing without children, also great for young families - an excellent garden play area."

"Really nice place to stay, spotless, bathroom with a bath, very well kept.
Parking opposite the hotel in a public car park which is free from 6pm until 9 am.
I really liked it there, I would recommend it and I will be back again.
Lastly, price was unbeatable."
"From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Asked for a quiet room at the back and got one. Excellent location for our needs and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely return. "
"The person who greeted us (I think James?) was very welcoming and checked us in quickly.
Room felt fresh and had some cool old features. The shower and bed were fantastic.
We had a really good pizza and a pint for about £14 each in the lovely gardens (they even put vegan cheese on for me).
The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients.
All in all it was a great stay and good value for money.
We hope to see you again post-festival in 2027, thank you for having us!"
