Excellent property for deep relaxation.

We had an incredible stay at this property! The mountain views right from our room were breathtaking, and the entire staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. A special mention to Dipen and his wife, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, the home-cooked food was absolutely delicious. We loved the experience so much that we decided to extend our stay!

Very good location and nice view from property

Our stay was very pleasant. The location was ideal and the views were spectacular. The early morning mist above the mountains view made me fall in love with Ooty. The food was also very good. We were there as a family and kids loved to swing on the front balcony. Overall we really liked the stay and I will recommend it to my friends.

I STAYED IN THE HOTEL FOR TWO DAYS WITH MY WIFE. DESPITE LANGUAGE HANDICAP I ENJOYED MY STAY. ROOM SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. ROOMS ARE CLEAN SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE. WHAT PLEASED ME MUCH WAS THE RECEPTION-DESK.THE MANAGEMENT IS CO-OPERATIVE AND GUEST-FRIENDLY. I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT IT AGAIN AND AGAIN....

Excellent Spacious Rooms with very good service and restaurant. Complementary breakfast is too good with many options. Hotel is close by Doddabetta peak and hence having own vehicle would be better as it is 9km from ooty railway station. otherwise be ready to shell out more for taxi request at travel desk. It is very lonely and peaceful place to be. We enjoyed staying here for 3 days and 2 nights. Stayed on 29 to 31 Mar 2013. Family with one 3 years kid.

The place was calm and well maintained

We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a pleasant stay at Stumpfields. It is 500 meters above Ooty town and within half an hour driving distance. This picturesque place is quiet, serene and well-maintained. Plenty of small and medium sized birds can be seen in and around the property. Breakfast prepared by the staff was very good and homely and the rooms are well maintained. New property. Rooms were spacious and good view of tea estate. Food was homely and good. But as it is little away from the town, vehicle is a must.
