Ideal hotel for exploring the historic town of Williamsburg. Clean and well presented hotel with friendly staff

This place is pretty magical and I’ve been wanting to come here again for a long time. Be sure to plan in time to go exploring

Two minutes walk into the historical area and a short walk from the railroad station. Good breakfast and friendly assistance frpm the staff.

Colonial Williamsburg is a really historic, interesting and beautiful place to visit and the lodge is a great place to base yourself while you do!

Although the hotel is quite dated, it was extremely clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and provided everything we needed. The one negative was the air con unit was quite noisy. Other than that I would definitely recommend to others. The location in respect to Williamsburg was excellent and a pleasant walk into the town itself.

A superb place to stay. Right in the centre of historic Yorktown. The staff were superb, welcoming and attentive. I can not recommend Hornsby House enough.

Best place I've ever stayed in

Wonderful stay. The hosts were amazing, always very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I loved the decoration of the house and rooms. Thank you very much !

Great value and great place!!

They require you to telephone them prior to arrival in order to provide your credit card details for incidentals; otherwise, they refuse to provide the door code for the room. We were told by staff that the hotelier does not trust customers who book via third-party sites to not steal items from the room. It is very insecure to give details over the telephone in such a manner, and if this was a requirement, then this should have been made clear at the time of booking. We had two rooms booked,...

We enjoyed our stay at Aldrich House in early June. It was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy walking distance of the historic area of Williamsburg. Tom was friendly and helpful and I can warmly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely one bed apartment with full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. En-suite had a big walk-in shower. Free laundry available on each floor (not in-unit). Close to good restaurants and walkable to Colonial Williamsburg.

What’s not to like about this fabulous, friendly B&B. The staff were amazing, the breakfasts awesome and the terrific personal attention just outstanding. We loved our stay - thank you Alex and Leroy.

The Williamsburg Manor is in a great location only a 10 minute walk from Colonial Williamsburg. It is a lovely old house with a small garden where you can sit out on a fine day. The rooms are clean and very nicely furnished with lots of individual pieces. We stayed in the James Southall room for 4 nights overlooking the front of the house, not a huge room but very comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfasts, a freshly prepared selection laid out to tempt us each morning....

Lovely, clean spacious apartment. Close proximity to Busch gardens and Colonial Williamsburg

Nice hotel, close to Williamsburg. Good parking and good breakfast facilities.
